What can this press do for your business?

The Heidelberg DI belongs to a new range of presses which was a fully integrated system to process and create all artwork within one compact unit, in short a much faster system to create full colours items.

Is it a digital photocopier?

No. This is direct imaging press weighs 4 tonnes and the processes used are the same as a traditional press and therefore you have all the benefits; clear, defined images & text.

What is CTP?

Computer to plate, is a general term used where you create artwork via Mac or PC then send the files to an off-line unit creating a metal printing plate, which in turn are manually loaded onto the press to set for register and inking set-up. CTC were the first company to introduce this style over 10 years ago.

What is DI?

Direct Imaging. Our Heidelberg DI by-passes the need to image plates off-line, it sets registration and ink densities all in one operation.

Type of paper

The DI will print all types of paper and board ranging from 70gsm NCR to 400gsm artboard making the press extremely versatile.
